Cane for Handicapped; Cane for Blind - $10
Portland, OR • 09/14/2007
Two canes.
Don't ask me why I have them! They were in my mom's garage! She has no recall of ever getting them!!!
One is white with a red tip--for the blind. Note that we had a family friend who was not blind but whose eyesight was poor. She went to Europe in the 60s and had difficulty getting around until she got a white umbrella which she carried as one would carry a cane for the blind. It resulted in people coming up to her and asking her if she needed assistance! Besides being helpful to a blind person in moving around, a real cane would be helpful for anyone who has some degree of impaired sight to make him or her visible to others as possibly needing assistance.
The second cane is black --for a person with difficulty walking smoothly.
I am thinking of 10 dollars each. This is not much, but I want someone to benefit from these things. If you can't afford this much, let me know!

You can see my other listings by typing "Toby West Linn " in the search box. I have things for sale in different categories so in the category box go to the top and click on "All selling/wanted".
I am selling all kinds of things as a way to supplement my 86 year old mother's small pension. I want to give you GREAT prices and REAL value and at the same time make a few bucks! If I can't do that, I HATE selling! So, keep this in mind and tell me what you would like..Ask for deals and favors! I am also ALWAYS open to offers, and I like to make package deals on different things combined together!
I live 2 miles from the 205 Fwy. The directions I will give you to my house are EASY to follow!
Also, I live on the Tualatin River. If it is nice weather, come on out with kids and/or doggies!! I love them all! I have a big safe yard and two adorable orange cats!
By the way, I sometimes may be able deliver. It would have to be somewhere I often go such as to Lake Oswego, West Linn, the nearby 205 freeway exit, downtown, southern Tualatin or Wilsonville or the lower part of Oregon City. Maybe I can deliver other places, too. My thinking is that I would like to give you good service so if I am going somewhere anyway, why not just put the item you want into my car and drop it off at your house or maybe at a store or something closer to you? I am not promising, but we can talk it over.
