Senior writer to develop content and user information (both in print and online HTML) in support of organizational processes.



Will also work with other technical information developers, editors, and publishers to edit for grammar, formatting, trademarking, technical accuracy, and final publishing.





In this position, you will be working with engineers and other technical writers to develop architecture specifications and end-user information. You will be responsible for developing technical marketing information and technical collateral for components, software, platfor ms and system products.

Ability to demonstrate solid tech writing skills: ability to generate and modify text, tables, illustrations; write clearly and concisely; select the correct method to present information; create manuals from engineering specifications.





Years of Experience Desired: 5-10+

Expertise Level (Jr., Mid., Sr. ): Sr.





Bachelor of Science degree and/or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronics, Computer Science, English (or related field).



Technical Writing.

Ability to create technical marketing collateral, developer manuals, data sheets, programmer's reference manuals, application notes, technical notes, white papers, online (hypertext) information systems, product development specifications; documents range in size from a few pages to hundreds of pages.



Project management skills:

ability to develop documentation plans; set schedules, plan and execute tasks; intervie w engineers, work in engineering teams; willing and able to multiplex tasks on a regular basis and, occasionally, adjust priorities.



Additional Skills Desired

Familiarity with networking technology and components; general semiconductor knowledge and familiarity with programming languages such as C would be an added advantage; strong experience in other technical fields may be considered.
