Tired of that commute downtown? We are a westside lawfirm looking for a legal secretary who will support a partner and 2-3 associates.
The legal secretary position involves drafting and editing complicated legal documents such as briefs, motions, correspondence, reports and memorandum on behalf of the attorneys. You will assist attorneys with successful case management by reviewing files, case documents and affidavits to detect completeness, timeliness and errors. Additionally, you will support attorneys in scheduling, organizing files, maintaining client contact information, screening and referring phone calls, as well as general secretarial support. You will interface with clients as necessary, file legal documents with clerks of the court, and obtain required signatures and authorizations.
