As the Manager of Business Applications you will be the primary IT contact and liaison for the business. You will be responsible for promoting, planning and collaborating with business partners in order to leverage technology across the company. Additionally you will be challenged with initiating the development and delivery of IT improvement and providing creative solutions.

- Serve as primary IT contact and Liaison for the business

- Help define, estimate, and prioritize projects and maintenance activities including post project implementation follow-up evaluations.

- Establish effective working relationships with business partners, sponsors, and vendors.

- Provide technical solutions or recommending strategies

- Act as project manager and IT stakeholder. Direct subordinates and facilitate resource planning and delivery of tactical and strategic projects.

- Develop and manage a high performing team through accurate budgeting, training, hiring, and mentoring.

- Experience managing a team of 10 or more

- Ability to plan, schedule, and execute multiple systems and projects simultaneously

- Develop tactical and strategic plans

- Ability to apply development methodologies and concepts (i.e. RUP)

- Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and have the ability to apply them to projects

- Knowledge of system analysis, design concepts, techniques and tools

- Understanding of RDMS, Client/Server, web, and mainframe concepts

- Possess excellent written and oral communication

- Negotiate complex project and technical issues

- Degree in Information Technology, business or related field.

- 8+ years of progressively responsible IT Management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
