Quality Assurance Analyst with at least 5-7 years of formal quality assurance experience, test strategy and test plan development experience. 3+ years experience with analytical QA following algorithms and complex data flows. Must have experience developing complex SQL queries from scratch as well as via GUI tools (SQL Query Analyzer). Must also have experience inventing QA process and scripting. SQL and database experience required. Strong SQL 2005 and health benefit industry knowledge a plus. Experience with reporting platforms useful but not required
Under general direction, you will carry out testing to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Review existing applications and data to ensure new functionality integrates properly. Perform and lead software testing around health information and benefits tools to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Review requirements documents to create test plans and test data for application verification. Document test plans and work closely with development to resolve complex problems. Report progress on problem resolution to management and development. Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations. Act as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers and other Quality Assurance Analysts. Perform complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements. College degree required.
