available in your area.

Working America’s campaign offices are rapidly growing our base, involving citizens in membership and letter writing campaigns on issues like fixing our nation’s healthcare crisis to fighting corporate and political corruption to eliminating tax breaks for companies sending jobs overseas.

Working America is now hiring and training accomplished, experienced, issue-driven canvassers, field managers and canvass directors to work in outreach field teams. We are hiring new and experienced activists with paid training.

This is a great opportunity for those of you who poured your heart and soul into the November elections and are now looking for a way to continue to fight to take our country back from the political forces that favor the wealthy and corporate special interests over America’s well-being.

Canvass Organizer

Working America’s strategy is to build grassroots strength in coummunities by educating and mobilizing citizens on crucial legislative and electoral priorities. Our Canvass Organizers recruit new members, organize them to get involved in our issue-based campaigns, identify member-activists, and are at the forefront of our member mobilization around key elections.

Get paid to fight for workers rights and organize citizens on working families’ priorites. Gain valuable experience and training in the labor movement and progressive organizing.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a commitment to activism. Fund-raising experience a plus. For those who qualify, field manager and canvass director training available.

Compensation

$10.11 per hour, plus benefits. Full-time, Part-time work available, depending on location.
