Looking for apartment to move Oct. 5/view September 8th

My husband and I are looking to move to the Beaverton/Tigard area. Our move date is October 5 (we're coming from Southern California). We're looking for 2 to 3 bedrooms in the 750 to 950 price range. We have 2 cats and are willing to pay a pet deposit, but aren't really interested in pet rent.



We're quiet, and always pay our rent on time. You'll likely only hear from us if something needs to be repaired. We're very likely to keep working for our current employer when we move, so we'll still be making our SoCal salaries, and finding work after the move wont be an issue.



I don't know how often apartment managers search for tenants, but I thought it was worth a shot. We will be flying to Portland for the weekend of September 7th in hopes of finding an apartment and leaving a deposit.
