Length of Engagement: Contract to Hire
Project Description:
Provides analysis and design support in identifying, evaluating, and designing systems, solutions and procedures which are cost effective and meet business requirements.
Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex problems to be solved with automated systems.
Creates specifications for solutions to meet business requirements.
Directs the translations of functions to be automated.
Designs details of automated systems.
Provides consultation to users in the areas of automated processes.
In this position you will be supporting the the Client Finance organization by providing business analytic support for Oracle Finance Application areas.
You will support full analytical and design support for Finance business applications which include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting. Support of Order Management, Inventory, and Document Image Management is also required.
Functions:
Responsibilities also include supporting and maintaining various system interfaces between internal Client systems and outside partners.
Other responsibilities include software development life cycle (SDLC) support such as: requirements gathering, design & specifications, light development, change control, testing, and deployment activities.
Project management skills are essential. Support, as needed, mandated activities and processes such as: Disaster Recovery, Sarbanes-Oxley, security, privacy, documentation, and other compliance initiatives.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Five (5) years of systems analyst experience with proven success at developing business requests into formal requirements and specifications.
Two-plus (2+) years of project management experience in software development life cycle deployments.
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, and Workflow experienceparticularly within an Oracle Applications environment.
Bachelor Degree or higher in technical related discipline or equivalent experience required.
Strong experience in design & documenting of technical solutions to business needs.
Strong experience in translating business requirements to technical specifications.
Experience in working with multiple business and information technology groups.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Finance and Order Management business processes.
Experience designing and problem solving with Oracle Workflow and Forms.
Strong application design experience.
Strong knowledge of system interfaces and application program interface (API).
Experience with developing & tuning PL/SQL & SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader.
Experience with issue tracking and version control software.
Understanding of technical and infrastructure environments.
Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
Experience with project management methodologies.
