As close to mt hood as possible. I want to move up into oregon and just wanted to start talking to people to get a little head start up there, maybe suggestions from other fellow snowboarders, what the good mountains are because i've only heard of mt hood all the time. I like the outdoors, camping and fishing snowboarding. I surf out here but this last summer the water is so bad at my favorite spot, I won't go into it. I'm tired of the mentality out here in california that the problems will fix themselves, and tired of seeing my favorite spots destroyed by others. My brother recently moved up to independence but i love snowboarding so much that I know I have to get closer to that area. I work for a park and I've worked at the local ski resort out here, which i also don't think is gonna make it because of this whole global warming "thing" going on. The resort had only three inches of natural snowfall and used up all the water well blowing snow to keep it running last season. Well if anyone wants to talk hit me up. I would love to get more info and maybe meet some good people,
