Objective: To obtain employment for at least 20 hours per week where I can best use my experience and strong people skills.

Work History: July 2006 to September 2006

I was employed by Daubert Associates to manage a small group of canvassers in Missoula, Montana. We were successful at qualifying the initiative for the November election (a letter of recommendation is available from this employer upon request).

My pay was $2000/mo.

Feb 2006 to July 2006

I was employed by Citizens for a Safer Portland to manage a small group of people to qualify an initiative for the November ballot. Though my crew was responsible for gathering over 16,500 signatures, the initiative did not qualify for the 2006 ballot.

I was paid $500 per week.

2002 to 2006

During this period I owned a company called Against The Grain Campaigns, which was a political consulting firm which consulted organizations and individuals on how to create, manage and be successful at operating statewide and local political campaigns. I was usually paid a commission or flat fee as an independent contractor, averaging approx. $2000 per month.

February 2000 to November 2002

I was co-author and campaign manager for Oregon’s ballot measure 27 (The campaign to label genetically engineered food). We qualified the initiative for the 2002 general election, raised over $200,000 from supporters, and secured Paul McCartney as our spokesperson. We received 34% of the vote due to our opposition (the biotech industry) spending a record breaking 8.4 million dollars on TV and radio ads against us.

I was paid $400 per week.
